We are seeking a skilled and strong QA Automation Engineer with data warehouse experience.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Irving, TX and Tampa, FL is $70k - $80k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities :
• Should have worked in Data Warehousing/Data Lake projects and understand how to test complex data scenario
• Should be good with analyzing the Data scenarios and profile them to maximize test coverage
• Ability to perform validations on end-to-end Mapping between Source, Staging layer and Target
• Understand the behavior of complex data warehousing and business intelligence solutions and apply that knowledge towards testing. Requirements:
You are:
• Experience in API testing across tools (Soap API & Postman)
• Hands on Experience in SQL and understanding of Stored Procedures is mandatory
• Tableau hands-on would be preferable
• Java/Python knowledge would be added advantage
• Experience with structured and unstructured data and experience working and processing large datasets, and techniques for working with data in volume effectively.
• Experience with volume and load testing
• JIRA experience will be nice to have
• Should have good understanding of the frameworks he/she has worked on
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication It would be great if you also had:
• Hands on automation experience or experience in any automation tools
